Scherzi a parte, durante il Medievo e il Rinascimento la Grammatica era considerata una delle sette Arti Liberali. Non consisteva solo in alcune regole da imparare ma anche nel capire la lingua come un insieme, imparare come le parole potevano essere usate per creare effetti, rinforzare espressioni e significati. Era il fondamento di ogni conoscenza, ricerca filosofica e pratica della virtù. |

Jokes apart, during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, Grammar was considered one of the seven liberal arts. It was not just about learning rules, but about understanding the language as a whole, learning how words could be used to create effects, strengthening expression and meanings. It was the foundation of every knowledge, philosophical inquiry and practice of virtue. |
