Welcome to the CyberItalian Intensive Tutored Course
Beginner 1 ~ session 2

Here you will find the recommended learning activities and you will:

• describe who you are (part 1)
• complete the self-administered lesson with exercises and exam
• complete the audio lesson and record your voice
• write the assignment and post it in the Class Forum

Follow all the recommended steps and learning activities.

Fase 1 - Forum di Classe (Class Forum)

• Review the Class Forum and see if there is any message from the teacher.

Fase 2 - Studio. Lezione con esercizi ed esame (Study. Lesson with exercises and exam)

• In this session you learn how to describe yourself: Sei italiano/a o americano/a? Sei biondo/a o bruno/a? Are you Italian or American? Are you blonde or dark?
  Study Lesson b_2 and complete all required exercises and activities. Make sure you read the Comment, analyze the Grammar, complete the Exercises and exam, complete the "Bocconcino Culturale" and the Activity.

Fase 3 - Lezione audio (Audio Lesson)

• To self-administer your Audio Lesson click on Presentazioni and follow instruction.

Fase 4 - Compito (Assignment)

Minimum total number of words to write in this assignment: 100
Post only 1 assignment in the Class Forum including all the following points:

1. Introduce yourself (name, nationality, physical and general description) and greet the teacher (as you have learned in lesson b_1, Dialogue and Cultural Tidbit and lesson b_2, exercises 3, 4, 5).
2. In exercise 9 and exercise 10, Lessons b_1, you practice introductions and greetings. Imagine you are at a party in Italy and you meet two interesting persons: write greetings and introductions among the three of you.
   In exercise 9, Lessons b_2, you practice descriptions. Describe "la festa" (the party). See which of the following adjectives can be useful to describe it: "bella, noiosa, simpatica, brutta, calma, rumorosa, affollata, deserta". Check the online dictionary if you need.
3. Watch the following video and describe "il Pantheon" (the Pantheon). See which of the following adjectives can be useful for your description: "grande, piccolo, rotondo, quadrato, alto, basso, antico, moderno, vecchio, nuovo, bello, brutto, largo, stretto":
   
   The Pantheon (from Greek Πάνθεον Pantheon, meaning "Temple of all the Gods") is a famous building in Rome which was originally built in 27 BC as a temple to the seven deities of the seven planets in the state religion of Ancient Rome. It is the best-preserved of all Roman buildings. The round oculus admits the only light (and rain).

IMPORTANT: Use a text editor (like Microsoft Word) to write assignments. In this way you do not run the risk to lose your work if there is a connection failure. When your assignment is complete, copy it and paste it from the text editor into the Class Forum message.
