La parola "dialogo" deriva dal greco antico διάλογος (diàlogos), dove dià significa "attraverso" e lògos ha un significato ampio di "parola o pensiero o ragionamento o discorso".
La parola "attraverso" è importante perché rappresenta un ponte. Un andare da una parte all'altra fra due pensieri, due ragionamenti. Avanti e indietro, unendo così due sponde separate.
Attraverso il logos, attraverso il parlarsi, ci può essere un incontro. Attraverso parole sincere ed autentiche si possono attraversare il silenzio e l'incomprensione.
In senso più ampio, il dialogo è uno scambio, aperto e onesto, fra persone disposte a ragionare, a SPIEGARE il proprio punto di vista ma anche ad ASCOLTARE quello dell'altro per trovare INSIEME una SOLUZIONE.
Certamente, anche con le migliori intenzioni può capitare di fraintendersi, di non capirsi. Ma sempre attraverso il dialogo, i fraintendimenti e le incomprensioni si possono risolvere.
CyberItalian promuove il dialogo e la comprensione fra i popoli, ma promuove anche il dialogo e la comprensione in famiglia, nel nostro microcosmo, fra uomini e donne, genitori e figli, fratelli e sorelle.
CyberItalian promuove anche il dialogo con se stessi.
In certe situazioni, quando c'è molta emotività, rabbia, dolore, paura e desiderio di vendetta, il dialogo non è facile. Con nessuno. Ma bisogna "attraversare". È l'unica soluzione che abbiamo se vogliamo creare un mondo più sano e più felice per tutti.
Il dialogo è una ricerca.

The word "dialogo" derives from the ancient Greek διάλογος (diàlogos), where dià means "across/through" and lògos has a broad meaning of "word, thought, reasoning, or discourse."
The word "across/through" is important because it represents a bridge. A passage from one side to the other between two thoughts, two lines of reasoning. Back and forth, thus uniting two separate shores.
Through logos, through speaking, there can be an encounter. Through sincere and authentic words, one can traverse silence and misunderstanding.
In a broader sense, dialogue is an open and honest exchange between individuals willing to reason, to EXPLAIN their point of view, but also to LISTEN to that of others in order to find a SOLUTION TOGETHER.
Certainly, even with the best intentions, misunderstandings and lack of understanding can occur. But always through dialogue, misunderstandings and miscommunications can be resolved.
CyberItalian promotes dialogue and understanding among peoples, but it also promotes dialogue and understanding within families, in our own microcosm, between men and women, parents and children, brothers and sisters.
CyberItalian also promotes self-dialogue.
In certain situations, when there is much emotion, anger, pain, fear, and a desire for revenge, dialogue is not easy. With anyone. But it is necessary to "go across, go through." It is the only solution we have if we want to create a healthier and happier world for all.
Dialogue is a search.
