Through the teaching of Italian language and culture, we can help in the development of mental concepts and cognitive awareness of our students.

Italian language and culture can offer us many "humanistic tools" to help students in their development. Through the Italian language and culture we can expose students to a "different kind of thinking".

We, as teachers of Italian, can give to the students many appropriate words and concepts to become more aware of themselves and of the others around them. And in this way I believe we, as teachers of Italian, can help to build a better society and a better education.

What an important role we have! And what an important role Italian language and culture have in present society!
