In italiano esiste un’espressione idiomatica: “fare una scena napoletana”.
Vuol dire recitare una scena pur di riuscire a fare qualcosa che non è veramente permesso. Non è dire bugie, non è fare cose cattive. E’ recitare.
Ad esempio: se il vigile ci vuole fare la multa perché abbiamo posteggiato in un posto dove non si può, possiamo recitare e dire che abbiamo dovuto posteggiare un attimo perché la nonna stava male etc.
Bisogna recitare molto bene per evitare una multa!

In Italian, there is an idiomatic expression: “to make a Neapolitan scene”.
It means acting out a scene just to be able to do something that is not really permitted. It is not about lying, it is not about doing bad things. It is acting.
For example: if the policeman wants to fine us because we have parked in a place where we cannot, we can act and say that we had to park there for a moment because the grandmother was sick etc.
One has to act very well to avoid a fine!
